Where were you born?

San Bernardino, California

How long have you been a licensed massage therapist?

14 years

What motivated you to start a career in massage therapy?

I have always enjoyed helping and caring for others. When I was younger, I always thought massage therapy was my calling and when I started school I fell in love with it.

What is your specialty in massage?

Deep tissue and sport’s massage. However, I am best for helping others recover from any type of injury, tissue damage and even emotional damage.

For those who have never had a massage could you tell them what the benefits are?

Massage therapy helps align your body and allows your body to work the way it should be! Through releasing hormones, decreasing inflammation, and getting rid of unwanted pain; massage therapy can improve an individual’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Did your family have an impact on you wanting to care for others?

Oh yes! My parents are such awesome people. My mother was a nurse and father was a chef, I grew up in a household that valued helping others.

I know you have children of your own! How many do you have and what are their names?

I have three beautiful girls! Miya, Gemma and Alyssa.

Do you have any pets?

A French Bull Dog and his name is Chaci.

What’s your favorite Christmas movie?

National Lampoon’s Family Vacation. I laugh hysterically every time!

Where did you start your massage therapy career?

I started at Redhill Chiropractic. I have always loved working in a medical office, because of the clinical approach. Along with working inside a practice I also had my own mobile business. Working inside an office and doing it on my own has taught me so much!

Is there a difference in your mind between a massage in a medical office compared to a spa?

Oh my gosh yes! That is the main reason I have always chosen to work with medical doctors, because it’s always a specific treatment for a patient. It really allows me to know their trigger points and how I can assist their recovery. I do not do any cookie cutter massages.

What is your best memory or success story as a massage therapist?

There are so many! I’ve worked with athletes and have seen so many patient’s treatment improve their quality of life. However, a couple of years back I had a patient who told me that she did not have to go through surgery from carpal tunnel syndrome from being my client. That was an incredible feeling.
